by didi, 7 months agoI just do not get it running on my Ubuntu 22.04. Firefox. I tried all suggestions, even about not installing it as snap. It just does not work, maybe because it is difficult to install Firefox not as snap

posted 7 months agoTake a look at our Troubleshooting Guide in GitHub, especially the section about AppArmor. Ubuntu can restrict Firefox usage through it, and the extension might not work with default settings.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Andrei, 16 days agoThis does not work at all. I am on Github login page with an open KeepassXC database that has an entry with given URL exactly at it appears in brower with /login and still it says "Error: no logins found. (github url but without /login)"
edit: i'm using the exact URL of github login page, with https, exactly as it appears in browser.Developer response
posted 16 days agoThis only means your entry has an invalid URL for the site. Try using the most simple form, for example https://example.com. The URL scheme also matters. Entry URLs starting with http are not valid for https sites. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18722527, 17 days agoIt doesn't work for me. Windows 11 ver 24H2, Firefox 133.0. Keepass XC ver 2.7.9.
It simply display: Error! No logins found.
Fixed. URL's are okay. Reinstalled Firefox and now it works. Thanks!Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by abunakov, a month agoI'm giving this add-on 5 stars because a) this add-on works great, b) I want to thank the devs (thank you guys!), and c) I want to improve the average rating lowered by people who are quick to give 1 star ratings but who are actually unable to even read the docs -- educate yourself please.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Nick Richards, a month agoAs other users have mentioned, on ubuntu derived distributions this extension works with native browsers but not any browsers installed via snap or flatpak. This is a very problematic flaw on any ubuntu-related operating system! Unfortunately, it has made this extension virtually unusable for me.

posted a month agoOne star reviews about this are understandable, but after all it is 100% a Snap issue, not a bug in the extension itself. - Rated 5 out of 5by ZimniY, 2 months ago
