I get that this might not be the tool you were looking for, and that’s totally fair. Just to clarify, screenshots are currently the most effective way to back up Kindle books without running into DRM-related legal issues, and the end result is similar for personal use. It’s not about taking shortcuts - it’s about making the process accessible to more people.

As for the price, I kept it as low as possible while still covering the time and effort it took to build the extension. And the free trial is there for exactly this reason - to let people decide if it works for them before buying.

That said, if cost is an issue, I’d be happy to provide you with a free license - just send me your email. Or, if you have a better approach, I’d genuinely love to see what you come up with!
