Kitty Next Door is a little cat that lives at the bottom of your web pages and keeps you company while you work, study or browse.

• It walks, sits, loafs and naps on every page, and clicks pass straight through it, so it never gets in your way.
• Its eyes follow your cursor, and it slow-blinks at you, which is how cats say "I trust you".
• Step away from the computer and it curls up to sleep. Come back and it wakes up to greet you.
• Rub your mouse over it to pet it: it purrs and shows little hearts. Click it for a "mrrp". Pick it up by the scruff and it looks deeply unimpressed.

VISIT YOUR FRIENDS, IN REAL TIME
Every cat has a short friend code. Add a friend once, then send your cat with a note and a small gift (a fish, a ball of yarn, a flower or a toy mouse). Your cat walks off your screen and appears on your friend's a moment later, sits with their cat and delivers your note. It comes home after a couple of hours, or whenever you call it. If your friend is offline, your cat waits and walks in when they're back.

LETTERS
Write or paste a letter when you send your cat. It arrives carrying an envelope, and your friend clicks the cat to read it and copy it. Letters are deleted when the cat goes home.

THE KITTY PARK
Send your cat to a live public park where cats from all over the world play together, and watch it at kitty-next-door.kittynextdoor.workers.dev/park. One cat each hour wears the crown as Cat of the Hour, and you can make a postcard to share. Only your cat's name and coat are shown there.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
The cat never reads the pages you visit, what you type or your browsing history. Only what visits need is sent: your cat's name and coat, the name you choose to show friends, your friends list, and your visit notes and letters. You can delete your account at any time from the popup.
