KuroAria DL (desktop application) and the KuroAria DL browser extension do not collect, store, or transmit personal data to any external servers.

Data Collection
The extension processes download URLs, file names, and optional page referer data solely to forward downloads to the local desktop application.
When required by certain websites, cookies may be passed locally to the desktop app to support authenticated downloads. These are never sent to any external server.
All settings and download-related data are stored locally on the user’s device.
Data Storage
Desktop app data (settings, logs, download history) is stored locally on the user’s computer.
Default location (Windows): %LOCALAPPDATA%\KuroAria-DL\
No data is uploaded, synced, or shared externally.
Local Communication
The browser extension communicates only with the local desktop application via localhost (127.0.0.1).
No remote servers are used.
No data leaves the user’s device through the extension or application.
Third Parties
Downloads are performed directly from the target websites chosen by the user.
Those websites may process traffic according to their own privacy policies.
The project uses aria2 locally for download management.
No Tracking / No Analytics
No analytics, tracking, advertising, or telemetry is included.
No accounts or user identification is required.
User Control

Users may uninstall the extension and application at any time and delete all locally stored data manually.
