1. Alt+z does not switch tabs until the alt keyup event happens
2. if you press alt+z, then z again (without letting go of alt), it returns to the tab you were on two tabs ago,
3. Extend this to z's its three tabs ago? And so on. Not sure how many tabs could be tracked at once in this manner.
It would be similar to how alt tab in windows works.
A more advanced version (requiring much more extensive permissions, I'd imagine), could build up a tab switch view similar to what alt tab gets you on windows (or task mode with win+tab)
Regardless, thank you for the simple app, I like it even if it can only switch between two tabs at a time =) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17759139, a year agoThis has been so helpful to my process flow. I just wish I could map my own key.

posted a year agoYou can change the shortcut keys by following this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-extension-shortcuts-firefox - Rated 5 out of 5by Yuli, a year agoThanks for the extension.
But it has a problem:
When you close the previous tab, the expected behaviour would be (to me) switching to a previous opened tab, but the extension does nothing instead. Could you implement this?
Edit: Thank you! Just noticed you already implemented this. Changed to five stars! Thank you very much! - Rated 5 out of 5by Ben, 2 years ago
