Layout Tweaks for YouTube by HyouIse

Layout Tweaks for YouTube lets you take back control of how YouTube looks.

Layout
- Restore the classic watch page layout: suggested videos on the right, comments and description below the video.
- Fixed video with independent scrolling: the video stays in place while the comments and the suggestions column scroll separately (two-column mode).

Home page
- Choose how many videos are shown per row.
- Hide Shorts.
- Hide the filter chips bar.

Watch page
- Turn off ambient light (cinematic mode).
- Hide suggested videos, comments, cards / end screens, and merch / ticket / info panels.

Appearance
- Pure black background in dark mode.
- Remove rounded corners from thumbnails and the player.
- A custom CSS box for your own rules.

Privacy
The extension collects and transmits no data and makes no network requests. Your settings are stored only in your browser. It only runs on www.youtube.com.

Good to know
Restoring the classic layout works by turning off YouTube's experimental layout flags. YouTube controls these and can change them at any time, so this feature may stop working until the extension is updated. Some options depend on YouTube's current page structure.
