Lumen brings Google Gemini and Anthropic's Claude straight into your browser. Select some text or use the popup to summarize pages, explain content, or ask questions about what you're reading — with streaming answers and fully transparent cost.

Requirements

An API key for the provider you want to use: Gemini (free tier available at Google AI Studio) or Claude (create one in the Claude Console). Keys are stored locally in your browser — each one is sent only to its own provider's API.

Privacy

No data is collected. Page content is read on demand (no script running in the background) and sent directly from your browser to the API of the selected model's provider (Gemini or Claude), using your own key. Stats and history stay only in your browser.
