About this extension

mainsite is a free bookmark manager from Switzerland. Your links live online, look the same on every device and in every browser, and tags plus live search find any of them in seconds. This extension is the fastest way to add new ones.

What the extension does
- Save in one click or with Alt+Shift+M
- Tag suggestions from your existing tags
- Put links straight into one or more collections
- Private note on every link (stored encrypted)
- ✓ on the icon when a page is already saved
- Right-click a link → "Save link to mainsite"
- Also works in Firefox for Android
- English and German – follows the language of your mainsite account

How it works
1. Create a free account at https://www.mainsite.ch
2. Click the mainsite icon → "Connect to mainsite" → confirm
3. Done – from now on every page is one click away from your collection

You can bring your links from Pocket, Raindrop, Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari on mainsite under Tools → Import bookmarks.

Developer comments

The extension needs a free account at https://www.mainsite.ch – without an account it can't save anything.
