Plastic shrinks as it cools, so a 3D printed part often comes out a little small. This tells you how much to scale your model so it lands on size.

Measure a test print: put in the size you modeled and the size your calipers read, and it shows how much the part shrank and the exact scale to set in your slicer. Or pick your filament for a typical starting figure, from PLA at about 0.3% to polypropylene at about 1.8%.

A part modeled at 150 mm that prints at 149.1 mm shrank 0.6%. Scale it to 100.604% and the next one lands on size.
