About this extension
Mamusai is a privacy and security extension that blocks trackers and malicious sites and hardens Firefox against fingerprinting and web-based attacks. No telemetry: your settings and logs stay on your device.
Tracker & Malware Blocking
Uses 60+ public blocklists (EasyList, uBlock, Hagezi, OISD, Disconnect, Brave and more) with Bloom filters for fast lookups. Blocks ads, trackers, malware, phishing, cryptominers and scam sites. You can add more lists from FilterLists.
Anti-Fingerprinting with Privacy Budget
Tracks fingerprinting attempts across 30+ APIs (Canvas, WebGL, AudioContext, fonts, WebRTC, sensors and more), with a configurable budget (16–96 bits, default 48) and noise injection when it is exceeded.
DNS-over-HTTPS
Supports Cloudflare, Quad9, NextDNS, AdGuard DNS, Control D and Mullvad, with automatic fallback when a provider is slow. Detects DNS hijacking and NXDOMAIN redirection by your ISP.
Password Breach Check
Checks passwords against Have I Been Pwned using k-anonymity: only the first 5 characters of the SHA-1 hash are sent, never your password.
Certificate Check
On demand, from the context menu, looks up a site's certificates in public Certificate Transparency logs.
Script Integrity (SRI-Plus)
Verifies the SHA-256 hashes of popular CDN libraries (React, Vue, jQuery, Angular…) and warns about mismatches and versions with known CVEs.
Advanced Threat Detection
Detects Browser-in-the-Browser attacks, prototype pollution, Import Maps hijacking, data exfiltration and side-channel attacks (timers, cache timing, XS-Leaks).
Protection Profiles
Light, Normal, Strict, Paranoia and Off, plus per-site profiles, a whitelist with temporary pause, and a Corporate mode for managed deployments.
Network connections
Mamusai only connects to: the blocklist sources, Have I Been Pwned (k-anonymity), a public Certificate Transparency log search when you request a certificate check, and the DNS-over-HTTPS provider you choose.
Your Data
Everything is stored locally. You can export your data or delete all of it from the options page.
Available in English, Spanish, German, Arabic, Japanese, Russian and Simplified Chinese.
