Manhwa Dark Mode Reader by rez

Reading manhwa or webtoons on an OLED monitor? The white space between panels lights up every pixel and dims everything else. Manhwa Dark Mode Reader turns those white gaps into true black, while leaving the artwork alone.

What it does
- White gaps between panels become pure black, also when the white is part of the chapter image itself
- Soft, fading panel edges get a clean cut instead of a jagged one
- Text written in the gaps is flipped to light so it stays readable
- Optional: white speech bubbles become black with light lettering
- Glowing sound effects fade naturally into black
- Fit chapters to your screen width, great for vertical monitors

How to use
1. Open your reading site and click the extension icon
2. Choose "Smart gaps"
3. Alt+Shift+O compares the whole page with the original; Alt+click switches a single image

It only runs on sites you enable. All processing happens locally in your browser: no data collection, no tracking, no ads. Free.
