Labels and notes is definitely something I'll look into. Stay tuned :)
Edit: the latest version of the extension allows to add comments to highlights. I hope this already helps. Tags for highlights will follow in a later release.

- Rated 5 out of 5by タダノ, 15 days agoThis is exactly the web highlighter & annotator that I've been looking for.
I just hope we can get better light & dark theme which would sync with firefox/system soon.
The contrast between the highlight background & text also need to be higher, so that we clearly read the highlighted text, when it's active in the webpage.
Also hoping better organization of the highlights & annotations in "All" view. Right now it directly shows the url, which is not quite readable at first glace.
Thanks for working on this extension! - Rated 5 out of 5by Harshit, a month ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Robert, 4 months agoI love this extention. It's gonna make research a lot easier. Having the URL attached to the quote is brilliant. The only thing is add is the ability to add a custom title before the URL. Maybe add a drop down menu with a list of those titles on the page control panel so you can quickly orgainze the quotes. Ex title- thiamine, niacin, b6, B12... Then when in the all tab have it organized alphabetically and time... Or instead of a drop down a series of buttons programmed with a title, color coded or labeled in someway to identify the title.

An option to toggle a highlight is a good idea and I'll definitely add such a functionality.
Edit: the latest version of the extension allows to show/hide individual highlights.
