Masenahekan by Lucas Schneider

This extension parses the values of text input fields in the Masenahekan Menominee Language Database, to more easily search for lexemes with macron characters: ā, a͞e, ē, ī, ō, ū.

Where 'x' stands for any Menominee vowel 'a', 'ae', 'e', 'i', 'o', or 'u':

typing "xx", "x_", "X", or "x̄" ('x' followed by a combining macron character) will produce the corresponding long vowel (vowel with macron) character that must be used in order to return database results.

This extension is independently developed by a University of Wisconsin, Madison student and is NOT supported or endorsed by the University or the Menominee Nation.
