MemexNG does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or usage information to any external servers. All data — including your browsing history index, vector embeddings, and search queries — is processed and stored entirely on your local device using browser storage APIs (IndexedDB, storage.local). No information is ever sent to the cloud or any third party.
The extension uses on-device AI models (embeddings via ONNX Runtime Web) that run locally within your browser. No internet connection is required after initial model download.
