    A smoother, smarter mapping experience with a much faster re‑written buffer tool, upgraded 3D navigation, improved measurement controls, cleaner PDF map details, more intuitive selection workflows, and redesigned dialog boxes that are more intuitive with a cleaner visual style.

    7. Buffer: optional Only selection (selected features or the whole layer, not both). Buffers are single-part polygons. Source selection is kept.
    8. Re-written buffer tool and added dissolve unions overlapping rings; leftover islands are separate polygons.
    9. Added New tool: Multipart to single parts (whole layer or Only selection). Polygon holes stay with their polygon.
    10. Dissolve by field: progress per group; single-part output.
    11. Measure menu: Off / Distance / Area, plus added settings (line colour, fill colour, width).
    12. Added Editable map scale box (1:N); Enter zooms to that scale.
    13. Improved PDF Map details page is a label/value table (extent, corners, layers, frame size, map scale).
    14. Fixed mouse middle-button drag pans the map (grabbing cursor until you release).
