- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18580345, 4 months agoPerfect! Use a hotkey to open a prompt to find your tabs.
When I press the hotkey, I need to press tab or click in the bar to start typing my page name. Would be neat if the focus is shifted automatically to the extension's search bar. But still five starts because it works great! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16024671, 4 months agoVery useful, I use it many times every day. Works flawlessly.
Oups, counter a 666 right now!
What would be great: once we enter a filter, to be able to use the resulting tab list to "Duplicate All URLs To a New Window" and "Move all URLs to a new Window" - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13683082, 8 months agogreat tool .. i'd give 5 stars if it had a feature to highlight the most recent 10 tabs.
- Rated 5 out of 5by DavidC, a year agoHi Chris
Great Firefox add-on that I use every day.
Can I suggest a couple of enhancements please ...
1. Is there a way that it could highlight the tab(s) that are playing audio? This would be very helpful in locating which tab suddenly starts playing music etc.
2. Could there be an option to move all the tabs matching the search criteria into the same instance of Firefox? e.g. if I search for ebay and it shows 7 tabs, could they be moved into the same Firefox instance? - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14246127, 3 years agoWorks exactly as described, and works beautifully. Makes finding tabs when you have many of them (and all look very much alike), very natural and easy. As a bonus, shows the number of open tabs by the icon.

posted 6 years agoWhat do you mean by "lots of windows with this title/address"? Is there a particular title/address that causes the issue, or do you mean that if there are lots of windows that all have the same title/address?
It's hard for me to test with ~600 tabs, so in general, I wouldn't recommend this extension for use cases like that. But I'd be happy to look into this issue if you can give me a bit more info.

posted 5 years agoI changed the default to Ctrl+Space, and added instructions for how to change the keyboard shortcut to whatever you want. Thanks for your feedback!- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13594018, 7 years agoNice plugin!
Displays quickly!
Two issues:
1. When clicking the TabFinder button, I expect to be able to starting typing the search term.
But for some reason the text-box does not have the focus.
This cause me to have to use the mouse (or press TAB twice)
2. For me, Ctrl+Shift+D brings up the "New Bookmark" dialog.
Am using clean install of 57.0.2 (64-bit) - Rated 4 out of 5by Squiter, 7 years agoAwesome!! It's exactaly what I needed! My only complain is about the visual, it can be more beatutifull

posted 7 years agoI'm planning to add some options to control the width of the popup, which I hope will make it look better. I'd like to keep it minimal, which I find beautiful, but I'll certainly be looking for ways to make it prettier!
Thank you for your feedback! :D - Rated 5 out of 5by mistahchris, 7 years agoNice. I'm glad this exists. Works exactly how I'd expect. Thanks for writing!
ps ctrl shift d isn't so bad :DDeveloper response
posted 7 years agoYou're very welcome! I also like Ctrl+Shift+D, but would prefer to allow users to specify the command in case they want to use that for something else. But I'm having a tough time figuring out how to allow the key command to be an option with the WebExtensions API. I'll keep trying, and I'm glad you're happy with it in the meantime!
Thank you for your feedback! :D - Rated 4 out of 5by Lej77, 7 years agoI would like to use this addon and it works just fine when I enable it in the addons page but unfortunately I can't start Firefox with it enabled. I have over 1000 tabs open and that is what is causing the issue. Just to be clear, this is only an issue when starting firefox not at any other time.
I have noticed this issue with some addons that count open tabs so maybe it would be fixed if tab counting could be turned off?
Tab counters that work for me: Yet Another Tab Counter (v 1.0.1) (bt dho), Tab Count Badge (v 0.0.3) (by plujon), FoxyTab (v 2.10.1) (by erosman).Developer response
posted 7 years agoCHALLENGE ACCEPTED! I'll be adding a settings page next, and I'll include the ability to turn off the tab counter. I'll also look around for any other reasons why it wouldn't work with 1000+ tabs. Right now it will only access/list a maximum of 400 tabs; I'll add that maximum value as a setting, too!

posted 7 years agoThanks for the kind words, bro! :D Let me know if you think of any ways to improve it! I think the next step is a configurable keyboard shortcut.
