Data is sent off-device only when you click Summarize.

When you click Summarize, the extension sends the following data to Google's Gemini API:

• The transcript text collected from the current YouTube video
• The video title, when available
• The channel or creator name, when available
• Your saved Gemini model id
• Your Gemini API key in the request header
• Your summary prompt

The extension does not send this data to any server controlled by the extension developer.
