- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14197234, 7 years agoWhat I loved about StumbleUpon.. Ability to Stumble through specific categories of videos. Mix doesn't have options to choose categories or mediums (blogs, photos, videos). In fact, Mix has absolutely no features at all whatsoever... It just feeds random, garbage click-bait content. That's all...
The whole idea behind Mix seems to be saving and categorizing web sites so you can view and share them later... like... Bookmarks.. Even though Bookmarking already comes standard in every Web Browser... since like 1992... Unfortunately, even Netscape Navigator had more powerful bookmark options than this PoS...
Why should I use this bookmarking "platform?" So you can grab all the data you can and sell it to the highest bidder? Go fund yourselves... - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14191381, 7 years agoHow can you even think of replace stumble with mix? Total waste of time. And mix wants to access your data???? How come??
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 5968336, 7 years agoMix a solid example of the ego of some nerds. Completely pointless, utterly futile, replacement for stumbleupon, SPOS and I hope you enjoy the money burn.
- Rated 1 out of 5by cliffhanger, 7 years agoI can describe "MIX" in two words and not only that,I believe I speak for most of the collective, when I describe Mix. "IT SUCKS"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Rated 1 out of 5by lightnup, 7 years agoJust junk. Mix has not brought me even one interesting link. This is a complete bomb in every way. It's not even that nice to use. Someone will come along that is mad enough about StumbleUpon to make something similar and the people at SU just blew it all away. They had it great and ruined it all. Congrats folks but no worry someone WILL take your place. Just to let you know there are good replacements out there too now. Just do a search for "interesting as "f word"".
- Rated 1 out of 5by Rainer, 7 years agoTerrible, grauenhaft, no charme, nothing in comparison with stumbleupon
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14155872, 7 years agoReally miss Stumbleupon. Thanks for replacing a great site with crap.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13358019, 7 years agoIf it ain't broke, don't fix it. Should have just transferred the settings and log in from stumbleupon. Big hassle for no good reason.
BYE BUY MIX ! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14151384, 7 years agoI don't know how anyone thought this was a good idea. You didn't need to kill Stumble just to put up another unoriginal curated article site. This isn't even in the same ballpark as Stumble—huge mistake! It was one of the only reasons I use Firefox, and with it gone I don't suppose I will much anymore. Wow! Just wow...
- Rated 1 out of 5by M@Dixon, 7 years agoWow... Way to go StumbleUpon. You took a perfectly good browser extension and crapped it up. As a user for longer than I can remember, 6-7 years or so, I am now forced to uninstall. Damn I am so upset about this. I use this almost every weekday during my lunch break. Not any more... Take Mix and shove it up your @$$!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14007506, 7 years agoPiece of shit company hope it goes down in flames for ruining stumbleupon even if it was the original creators. This is a convoluted mess with little to no practical use . If I want to archive bullshit and get recommended links to crap sites there are far better versions of the same thing elsewhere. Contact them and tell em they suck.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14148263, 7 years agoA terrible version of Stumbleupon. No button for taking me an interesting journey. No exciting websites. Where is the old button that brings me beautiful pages and takes me to an exciting internet adventure. Don' add Mix. It ıs shame to see the death of stumbleupon. Are they ever gonna bring it back, with the old bar!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14147005, 7 years agoBring back the Stumble button this is pointless
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14144064, 7 years agoI sure miss StumbleUpon. Mix isn't a replacement and most of the app doesn't work. Don't bother.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12738294, 7 years agoThis site is a stupider version of pinterest and nothing like stumbleupon. They seem to be filtering user content much worst than pinterest. Any link that i add to mix never shows up in mix's search results. I can only see some stupid posts that i don't like from some irrelevant sites.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14077754, 7 years agoHorrible! No button to discover a random site. The appeal of stumble upon was the button. Mix is going to fail hard unless the button is brought back.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14076707, 7 years agostumbleupon was acquired by these clowns? This 'site' is offering me something that I can find elsewhere. Its been done. The stumble bar was a unique experience of web surfing-- it was easy and worked well, and this is a veritable mess. Made a firefox account just to review this. Boy did they screw up, goin to miss SU. uninstalling!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Wyrmbyte, 7 years agoI have no idea how to use this, all of my stuff was imported and made PRIVATE (WTH) and it does not work with Firefox Quantum! Why is this even a thing? It's HORRIBLE!!!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Us2inVa2, 7 years agoI was entertained for about 20 seconds, and uninstalled this addon. SU was a useful fun addon. Mistake for a lot of uses killing it off. Wow.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Jivix fromwc3, 7 years agoMix is alright, but not good enough to keep me from missing Stumbleupon. Correct some of the major issues below and I'll happily bump this to 3-star. Add hotkeys so I don't have to wear out my right hand clicking through your website and your add-on, and I'll give you a 4-star review. Add a button to randomly pick a "For You" page, and I'll bump it to 5 stars. It's not even about the actual content at the moment since it is so difficult to actually view it when compared to SU. I mean the old version, it's not quite as bad as the newer WebExtensions version of the Stumbleupon Toolbar, which is a nearly unusable mess.
_TWO knocks for having no way to adjust what content I want to browse after account creation. So you're saying I have to make a new account if my tastes change? IF there is a way to do this, it's extremely unclear to the average user.
_Knock because even though it said I could completely import my Stumbleupon account, the only thing it seems to do is add all my favorited sites to a private collection.
_Another knock for not being able to get to the Mix website using the addon, which seems to have the lions share of the features at the moment (I can only add stuff to my collections and click links on "For You" using the addon).
_Another knock for having ALL email options on by default.
_Another knock for your main feature being able to choose from a series of "For You" websites, but the interface only showing 6 links on a 1440p monitor. Absolutely massive waste of space! If someone is interested enough in Mix to actually install and use it in their browser, you can bet they are VERY INTERESTED in seeing a ton of juicy websites they can visit. 400+ pixel wide tiles is totally unnecessary unless you're on a 4k monitor, and I can't find any way to increase their size or the number of columns. It feels like a phone app stretched to a full monitor, completely wasteful. Changing the scaling of the page is not a good workaround, and the columns don't dynamically fill the space so you end up with a narrow bar in the middle 1/5th of the screen with 12-15 tiles depending on how good your eyesight is. I can't imagine how comical the website would look when viewed on a 1080p screen. Your clients are incredibly important stakeholders, please be aware of ergonomics when designing the website & addon.
What are we at now? -6 stars? Ok, I'll give you 6 stars for actually functioning unlike many other addons in the new [utterly terrible] Firefox add-on schema, another star for the cool drooling logo, and 1 star for trying really hard to improve on Stumbleupon. I see the potential, I really do, but feature wise we're pretty far off right now, and I can't give you more than 2 stars due to the frustrating nature of browsing. And it reminds me too much of Pinterest which is a form of cancer for Google. Simplistic does not mean simple, and unfortunately Mix is simplistic.
Update: Clearing my browser history signs me out of Mix. Also, when I sign back in and try to start using the addon, it kicks off the whole account creation process all over again. Just nope. -1 star.
