    • Keyboard shortcut always opens panel — Alt+Shift+T now opens the side panel regardless of whether text is selected on the page
    • Auto-search selected text — when text is selected and the shortcut is pressed, the panel opens and immediately searches the selected word
    • Live pending translation detection — if the panel is already open, pressing the shortcut with a new selection triggers the search instantly (via storage.onChanged listener instead of mount-only check)
    • Exits favorites/settings on shortcut — pressing the shortcut while viewing favorites or settings automatically switches back to search view

    • Shortcut doing nothing when no text was selected
    • Selected text not being searched when side panel was already open from a previous use
