This section explains how the MoltSets Firefox Extension (the "Extension") handles information. It adds to the rest of this Privacy Policy, which continues to apply to your MoltSets account and to your use of the MoltSets API.

The Extension lets MoltSets customers look up contact data for a LinkedIn profile they are viewing. It does this by sending the profile's web address to the MoltSets API. It does not scrape information from LinkedIn.

• The address of your active tab, on LinkedIn only. The Extension has permission to see the address (URL) of tabs on linkedin.com, so it can tell when you are viewing a personal profile and which one. It cannot see the address of tabs on any other website.
• Nothing else from the page. The Extension does not read the content of LinkedIn pages or any other website, including names, text, messages, connections, cookies or page titles. It does not add anything to or change any web page, and it does not access your browsing history.

The address of the LinkedIn page you are on is kept in memory while the Extension's sidebar is open. It is only saved or sent anywhere if you choose to run a lookup, as described below.


The Extension communicates only with the MoltSets API at api.moltsets.com. It sends:

• Your API key, with every request, so MoltSets can identify your account.
• The LinkedIn profile address you choose to look up, when you click a lookup button such as "Get full profile", "Get email only" or "Get mobile". The Extension never runs a lookup on its own.
• The Extension's version number, with every request, so MoltSets can tell which version of the Extension a request came from.

The Extension also asks MoltSets for your account details (your plan, token balances and usage limits). It does this when you open the sidebar, after each lookup, when you refresh your account details, and from time to time as you move between tabs and pages. These requests contain your API key and the Extension's version number. They do not contain any LinkedIn addresses or other information about the pages you visit.

As with any request over the internet, MoltSets also receives standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type. MoltSets handles all of this information as described in the rest of this Privacy Policy.


The Extension stores the following in your browser's local extension storage on your device:

• Your API key, so you stay signed in.
• Your lookup history: for each profile you look up, the LinkedIn profile address, the time of each lookup, which lookup you ran, and the results MoltSets returned. Results can include the person's name, job title, company details, location, email addresses, email risk grades and mobile number.

This information stays on your device. The Extension does not sync it to your other devices or to your MoltSets account, and it does not send your saved history to MoltSets or anyone else.

You control this information:

• Signing out of the Extension deletes your API key from the browser. Your saved lookups remain until you delete them.
• You can delete saved lookups for a single profile, for selected profiles, or for all profiles, from within the Extension.
• Removing the Extension from Firefox deletes everything it has stored.

The Extension contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code. It does not send information to any third party. Information collected through the Extension is not sold and is not used for advertising.

Links in the Extension to MoltSets websites (for example, to sign up, manage your account or view pricing) include parameters that tell us the visit came from the Extension. If you follow one of those links, our websites handle your visit as described in the rest of this Privacy Policy.


We use the information described above only to provide and improve the Extension and the MoltSets service: to authenticate you, run the lookups you request, show your plan and usage, and support you. The use of information received through the Extension follows the Firefox Add-on Policies, including their data disclosure, collection and management requirements.


Contact data you obtain through the Extension is provided under your agreement with MoltSets. You are responsible for using it in line with the laws that apply to you, including laws on email marketing, telephone calls and text messages. Mobile numbers are not screened against Do Not Call registries.
