The Mooltipass USB hardware has the ability to easily manually select then type in passwords. This semi-automatic way of managing passwords securely has saved me a ton of time. No subscription to pay and I also don't need to worry about my passwords being cached in a browser. Although the USB hardware costs a bit up front, no subscription makes the system less expensive overall. The browser extension doesn't work with all websites but that seems to be due to onerous website login design choices rather than due to any faults with the plugin.

I just tried it today and find it amazing. If you are someone with many different passwords on different websites and don't want to use cloud based solutions. This is a great way to save you passwords and take it with you everywhere.

Doesn't appear to support HTTP Basic Auth. Which sucks a bit.

This extension together with MooltiApp provides a seamless and easy integration of the mooltipass in my everyday browsing.
My credentials are automatically picked up by the system, and to login I simply need to approve the request on the mooltipass mini.
The recent extension update considerably improved stability and I'm now fully accustomed and happy with it!

Definitely unclear instructions and awkward behaviour.
I expected the device to store my passwords and retrieve them for sites automatically. This does not seem to occur.
I expected some degree of being able to backtrack to correct mistakes I make while learning to use the device. Mostly this consists of dumping my passwords again and asking for a temporary one from the site administration while I attempt to coordinate the devices.
I really don't understand what relation, google storage of accounts and passwords, Firefox storage of passwords, logging on to computer, or logging on to gmail account have to each other and the mooltipass. I suspect mooltipass has taken over Firefox's automatic insertion of my passwords, but there is little to indicate this except the key in the top bar. Who knows who is in control? I don't.
The Mooltiapp app is not intuitive. The credential storage window, (when clicking on the key icon in the usename and password box), doesn't appear to communicate with the Mooltiapp. Or perhaps it does at times or maybe did once, and I've disabled it inadvertantly in my groping through the dark
I am now in the dread process of transferring control to my android devices. Have no idea if it will be painless or a completely new and exciting sort of pain.
I like the idea of security, but I have now changed many passwords multiple times and have a "hope it'll work this time" attitude to the whole business.

With 20+ years of experience in the IT sector, I think I've seen quite a lot password managers and methods, tried them all, and they always meant I had to compromise something. Either "trust" them by allowing my passwords to be on the cloud, or keep track and organized about my passwords, while my goal was simple "forget about passwords, have something in charge of it" Mooltipass delivers big time there.

Really random passwords, quick and easy to use, can use it in any computer in the world without installing anything, just plug and play. Love it!
