Motivational Life Counter is a privacy-first browser extension.

1. Data Storage: All settings, birthdays, goals, timers, and optional website tracking metrics are stored strictly locally in your browser's extension storage (browser.storage.local).
2. No Data Transmission: No data is ever transmitted, collected, or sold to external servers or third-party analytics.
3. Website Awareness: Website tracking is disabled by default and only operates locally when explicitly enabled by the user. It never reads webpage contents, passwords, or form inputs.
4. Data Control: You can export, import, or permanently delete all your data at any time from the extension's Settings modal.
