Reviews for Firefox Multi-Account Containers
Firefox Multi-Account Containers by Mozilla Firefox

I really need the containers to be grouped (for easier access and management), manually sorted and bookmarked with container information attached to be easily restored.
I am developing a web site. I have test users with their roles on site. For each user I created an individual container. 6 roles require 6 pages to be restored every time I reload the browser. I want them be restored automatically in their respective container at the time when the Bookmark was created. One site, several bookmarks with individual containers for each test user/role.

I used to open Chrome for one Google account and Firefox for another. To check business emails on Gmail and to view videos on YouTube, for example. It consumed quite a lot of resources on my old Dell Vostro 3700. Now, I can manage all my "personas" in Firefox alone, which I personally like more.
But, the new "problem" now is it's hard to find necessary tab on Windows task panel. So, I suggest, that not only individual tabs can be marked as containers, but every FireFox window could be assigned a default "persona" with different coloring and EVEN logo (I like the Fox, but sometimes it'd be useful to have those personalized icons to faster localize necessary tabs). PS. I use A LOT OF tabs (up to 50 in one session, I guess). So, saving time trying to locate a necessary tab would be cool.
On the whole, this is a really cool feature which is worth taking time to understand how to use. Firefox, please make a new button - Learn the Feature - so that it would be like an ed course with games, videos and tests (reading is boring and confusing, as you know).

- Rated 2 out of 5by Nhr, 5 days agoThey separate single account with multi categories, not multi accounts. They claim that categories exist, but the way to open them is difficult – click here, then here, and choose from there. They may have ideas for the future, but for now, this is my review. Best wishes

Sync to a new browser always merges the default configuration without asking. The Sync does not sync the 'limit to designated sites' option, so you have to manually apply that to all the categories (while you clean out the merged in default configuration).
Management of the categories is woefully sub-par; how is there no way to manually add domains or wildcard domains to a category? Try keeping a service like Google in a 'limited' category and watch the SSO explode every time you go to maps dot google dot com because the browser doesn't stay on the auth redirect long enough to add it to the container though the UI.
It also breaks the firefox profiler, as the profiler can't load profiles from outside the category.
None of this bothered me when this feature was new, but it's been years. I wish I could recommend this and use it in earnest. - Rated 5 out of 5by Kemal, 7 days ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Philip, 10 days agoOffers to sync with android, but the extension is not available for android (doesn't appear in search results) therefore impossible to sync with multi account containers on Pixel 7a. Don't know how this will work with multi account containers on my laptop not syncing with my phone

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12245859, 13 days agoAs it says it in the description, it lets you keep different profiles for different use-cases. And helps avoid the cross-site cookies from tracking your activities across multilple sites. e.g. allows you to keep your shopping and social media browsing separated.
While you could do this yourself by managing multiple profiles, this extension simplifies the process and makes it easier to do so. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15144451, 15 days agoAdd-on is in Russian and it is NOT the language of my OS nor FF. I don't see the option to change the language. It doesn't spark confidence in this add-on in current geopolitical situation.
Developer response
posted 15 days agoSorry that's not working for you. The add-on should match the language of your Firefox browser. I checked the source files and everything should be in English. Can you check https://support.mozilla.org/kb/containers and file a support request? - Rated 5 out of 5by WRX384150, 16 days ago
