Firefox Multi-Account Containers by Firefox

EDIT: Adding an extra star to this as I realized toggling "limit to designated sites" for each container forces non-whitelisted sites into the default container, preventing unwanted sites from contaminating my custom ones.
EDIT 2: Container logic seems to be confused by URLs crafted to redirect. Doing things like checking my eBay watch list or seeing my previous orders on Ali Express force containers into an infinite authentication loop whereby I have to disable designated site limiting in order for it to work.
EDIT 3: June 14, 2022. This extension is dead now that Mozilla has enabled site partitioning by default in Firefox 101. Great while it lasted but it was klugy with third party cookies and single sign-on, etc. I mean, it'll still be useful to allow multiple sign-ons to the same site, but that's about it.

- Rated 5 out of 5by superoci, 7 days agoVery useful extensions, especially when you have multiple accounts on a site and don't want to constantly log in or out or when you just don't want a site to access data from other sites you visit on your main profile.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15082755, 17 days agoThis is one of the core plugins I use (in addition to Ublock Origin).
With the account sync, containers are also remembered across different computers as well, so I don't have to set up the containers on every new laptop or reinstall of firefox. Sometimes I mistakenly open a website in the wrong container because I don't always map every single website to a container, but most of the time it's a non-issue.
I'm surprised this is still an add-on and not a core Firefox feature. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18184964, 18 days agoIt doesn't work for me. I cannot create a container where I am logged into Google and simultaneously a container where I'm not logged in.
