Today, this is one of the most useful Firefox add-ons. - Rated 5 out of 5by Tiffany Bennett, 7 years agoSuper helpful for me to deal with work vs personal accounts on the myriad websites that don't support multiple sign-in.
Far better than janky solutions like constantly signing in on a private browsing window, or using a second browser like Edge for certain accounts. Way less time wasted compared to constantly signing out and back into accounts, especially when considering 2fa.
The one thing that feels missing which I wish it had, was some sort of button to switch the container that a tab is in. I'll open a link to a tweet and it'll be in the default tab, in order to put it in a container I have to copy the URL, open a new container tab, and paste it in. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13522774, 7 years agoThe most innovative add-on I've seen in a long time.
The ability to isolate tabs to containers and use multiple accounts from the same domain in the same browser is really useful.
Also, the privacy factor, stopping FB, Google, and Advertisers from tracking you across the web because the cookies etc. are isolated to each container is simply awesome.
However, for some reason I am unable to save articles to Instapaper using the Instapaper add-on, if someone could let me know how to overcome this issue that would be great. :-) - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13655075, 7 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Augusto Pascutti, 7 years agoGoogle Chrome accounts are more straightforward to use, there is no sense in discussing this.
Containers on Firefox are more useful though. They take some use to it, tabs do not sync over (Desktop) devices but enable you to make much more than just accounts. If you take privacy seriously, this is the way to go. - Rated 4 out of 5by NatoBoram, 7 years agoIt was better during the Test Pilot. So many features are missing now.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13984191, 7 years agoI can finally use various Google services without then Google following me everywhere. It's nice to have different purpose accounts completely separated. Also love that I can set websites to automatically open in particular containers.

Just sad that it doesn't work on android.
Further suggestion:
1. Better way to modify the container settings
(basically direct access to storage.js with a nice UI)
2. Import/Export (since sync doesn't work)
3. More colors and more icons! :D - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13981209, 7 years agoKiller feature. This made it possible for me to switch from Chrome to Firefox. I was heavy user of Chrome's profile feature to manage various aspects of my browsing history including separating my personal and work profiles which in turn included one profile for each customer I work for.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Wojtek, 7 years agoBrilliant extension - it finally allow browse safely without spilling and sharing to much data between sites. It's like 'private mode' on steroid when you are not limited to single private mode but you can have multiple private modes on per-site basis!

- Rated 3 out of 5by JamesGecko, 7 years agoGreat idea with serious usability issues. It's way too easy to accidentally open a new tab in the global container space. The addon should bind to Ctrl+T or provide it's own keyboard shortcut to open a new tab in the current container. Ctrl+. is too indirect. It's also annoying to have a delayed confirmation that a site should always open in a specific container after explicitly checking the "Always open in (container)" box. Finally, the "flicker" when opening a new tab that is set to always open in a certain container is bad. I think it's opening a normal tab, then closing it and opening a container tab? It's distracting and looks broken.
