- Rated 5 out of 5by kane2742, 2 years agoThe new version took some getting used to, but now that I've familiarized myself with the new action bar, options and the keyboard shortcuts, I like it.
Edit to add: If you have any issues with the three-dot menu in the action bar not working, you might have to disable a conflicting extension. That happened to me – I'd apparently installed another extension for managing YouTube playlists at some point, and while it was enabled, clicking the three-dot menu didn't do anything for me, but disabling the other extension seemed to fix the issue. I didn't think to mention this until I saw a different review mentioning the three-dot menu not working. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14719029, 2 years agoI love this extension, but I no longer see the checkboxes to select videos after the update. I will change to 5 once I can use it again.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Tco, 2 years agoThis new version is a step down on multiple fronts.
You have to "turn it on" each page you want to use it on compared to have it on on select pages you pre-set previously.
I'm not a fan of the bar at the bottom.
And I liked having the numbers on the side with large playlists to easier reference them.
I'm hoping for a return to the previous style or the option to choose. - Rated 1 out of 5by TigerNightmare, 2 years agoStarted using 3.0, and it's a lot less usable than the previous version. The biggest problem I have is how the extension hijacks the Home, End, and arrow keys. Whenever I make a change in a playlist, YouTube unloads everything in the list after the 100th video and I need to hold down the End key until everything returns. With the update, the extension only scrolls to the 100th video when I press End, so I have to turn the extension off, hold down End until the rest of the videos load, then turn it back on. It's also annoying if I try to use the arrow keys to scroll up or down a little and it just jumps back to the whatever video was highlighted. (EDIT: I think End still works to scroll, but it takes a moment to load and there isn't a spinning wheel to indicate anything is happening)
There's a new confirmation prompt when I try to remove several videos at once, which adds another step.
While clicking anywhere on a playlist item to select it is easier and faster than clicking a box, this disables drag and drop, which is useful when I want to move a single video into another location. It's easier to click and hold, scroll up, then release than it is to click, scroll, right click, then click move down here. Another added step.
I also miss the videos being numbered, which gave me easy reference points to find when moving through a large playlist.
The center bottom location of the toolbar blocks the bottom video, and having to click the three dots to use functions I use all the time, while three functions I rarely use are always visible. I would like all functions visible or customizable, and the bar should span to the left of the Multiselect button, blocking the search bar, which I wouldn't be using when organizing a list anyway.
I hope the next version is as helpful as previous versions.
EDIT: Lowered rating to 1 star for the immature developer response to legitimate, constructive criticism. All of these things can be fixed and more people would use this extension if they were, but if this person would rather encourage me to uninstall than make improvements, then I encourage everyone dissatisfied with these changes to look elsewhere, as this is apparently the final version.Developer response
posted 2 years agoI can only advise you to uninstall this extension, then you don't have to worry anymore.
Are you subscribed to YouTube Premium? - Rated 5 out of 5by niconicocolonel, 2 years agoAbout 3.0. Normally, I was able to confirm that it works on accounts that are not in use. The account has no playlists and no channels registered. However, it is not working on an account that I normally use. I can even select videos, but when I click on the three point reader in the menu at the bottom of the screen, the menu is not working. This is an extension that I have great expectations for improvement.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14076223, 2 years agoReally great! My only suggestion would be to bring back the option show the video index numbers in the subscription page. Great extension!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Re'soul, 2 years agoWould be 5 stars if it had the ability to mass remove videos in a playlist that are in your watch later playlist kinda like how back in the day youtube would let you remove a whole playlist from your watch later playlist if every video in the playlist was in your watch later playlist already but what i would rather have is the ability to remove the videos in the playlist that are in your watch later playlist without needing to have every video from the playlist in your watch later playlist, i would also be fine with just a remove from watch later button like the add to watch later button but rather then adding videos that aren't already in the watch later playlist to the watch later playlist the button would remove the videos from the watch later playlist if there already in it. The reason i want this / need it is because i'm two years behind on some of the youtubers i watch leading to me having lets plays from them that i haven't watched yet with most of them being close to or longer then 100 videos meaning if i watch the first episode of the lets play and don't like it and end up not watching the lets play it ends up taking up room in the playlist until i get around to removing it all which is a real pain when they're 100 videos long, so if you could add the ability to remove playlist videos from watch later that would be super helpful and make my year no really it would make my year if you added it. Also sorry for making you read the word playlist 15 times well 16 now.

I updated to the new version and the addon doesn't seem to work anymore.. no selections, no Action bar or Icon button. I hope this will be fixed.
OLD REVIEW
v2
What a good addon! It finally allowed me to split YT playlists with 400 elements (they became slow to manage) into smaller ones. The option to multiselect a range with few clicks is a godsend.
It works great, except for some minor issues: it messes up the order if the list isn't fully loaded or updated (refresh it often), it cannot move private videos (they could return public), it cannot drag selections inside the list (only moves to top\bottom). - Rated 4 out of 5by Casey, 2 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Leif N, 2 years agoHelped me get my watch later list managed until recently when the remove action stopped working
EDIT: Randomly started working again 5/5
ANOTHER EDIT: It recently got an Update and was working flawlessly, but YouTube made some changes that broke it. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17618855, 2 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by MRHoward, 2 years agoThis add on is incredibly helpful and mostly solves the problems caused when youtube removed their original edit playlist options.
I do have one problem though.
When selecting multiple videos in a playlist and moving them all "to top" everything works fine and the videos are moved to the top of the playlist in the same order they had been prior.
But when doing the same and moving "to bottom" the videos get moved into alphabetical order instead of the order they had been prior.
Would like to see if anyone else has this issue or if it could be solved.
Great add on otherwise though!
**EDIT**
My issue above was seemingly patched and fixed. Thanks! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17504256, 2 years ago
