MultiTEL Browser Chat App by MultiTEL

MultiTEL Browser Chat App brings your MultiTEL text messages to Firefox for personal use or shared office work. Pair the browser with the phone numbers you choose, then read and reply to conversations without passing a cellphone around.

Messaging features:
• Read, reply to and start conversations for your assigned SMS-enabled numbers.
• Pin important messages and find them in the conversation’s Pinned tab, including older messages. Pins are shared with authorized users of the same account.
• Receive background notifications and choose how much message information appears in previews.
• Use search, delivery status, saved text drafts, saved replies, image attachments and message actions.
• Enter familiar national phone-number formats or explicit international numbers.
• Use optional reply cards on eligible HTTPS webpages, with review and sending in the extension’s separate window.

Verification codes and optional vault:
• Click to fill recent SMS verification codes matched to the exact HTTPS website, or copy unmatched codes manually.
• Pair an encrypted password vault separately, unlock it, then explicitly fill or manage saved logins.
• Generate passwords and review optional sign-up suggestions and save-login prompts. Nothing is saved automatically.
• Add authenticator entries with a setup key or a visible-page QR code. A cellphone authenticator app is not required.
• Explicitly approve eligible sign-ins to the MultiTEL portal from a paired browser. Existing account security requirements still apply.

Privacy and control:
• SMS access is limited to numbers assigned to your revocable browser credential. Pairing SMS alone grants no password-vault access.
• Passwords and authenticator secrets are encrypted locally before vault synchronization.
• QR screenshots are processed locally, never uploaded or retained.
• Codes and credentials are filled only after your action; forms are never submitted automatically.
• Data is exchanged with MultiTEL over HTTPS. No remotely hosted code is executed. User data is not sold or used for advertising or credit decisions.
