Mute Twitch Ads version history - 6 versions

  • Be careful with old versions! These versions are displayed for testing and reference purposes. You should always use the latest version of an add-on.

  • Latest version

    Version 2.0.2

    Released Oct 20, 2026 - 21.45 KB
Works with firefox 58.0 and later
    • Streams stay muted after an ad: fixed. Switching channels during a pre-roll ad could leave the stream muted after the ad ended.
    • Unmuting during an ad: if you unmute an ad yourself, the stream now stays unmuted when the ad ends, instead of being muted.
    • Your own mute is respected: if you muted the stream before an ad, it stays muted afterwards.
    • More reliable with Twitch's player: the addon now finds the mute button each time it checks, so it keeps working after Twitch rebuilds the player. It also ignores the hidden copy of the player controls that Twitch keeps on the page.
