PERSONAL DATA POLICY
My Data ApS, Karupvej 7, 8000 Aarhus (hereinafter "My Data") provides, among other things, a webshop under the domain name www.mydata.dk (the “Webshop”), a Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mydatadk (the “Facebook page”), just as MyData offers Backup solutions that provide the opportunity to secure all important data on an entity in an easy and safe way. MyData provides Password Managers, VPNs and other IT security features needed to uphold security.
In connection with your use of the website at www.mydata.dk, the Webshop, the Facebook page, and/or that you register and use My Data, in My Data we collect a number of personal data about you and your activities, which are later processed, in accordance with the Personal Data Act.
The potential information we process is:
Your first and last name, age, gender, physical address, e-mail address, company name, telephone number, which products you are associated with, as well as your activities when using the Webshop, services and onsite behavior at My Data.
The information about you is stored in both encrypted and unencrypted form, just as it is transmitted in encrypted and unencrypted form.
We use the personal information to give you access to the services contained in the products, the Facebook page and/or as a My Data customer, to process any orders that you may place on the Webshop, to monitor any improvement opportunities for the services that are offered on the Webshop, the Facebook page and/or through My Data's products, and in compliance with the legislation in force at all times, including the Personal Data and Bookkeeping Act.
In addition, we have recorded whether you have accepted our Terms and Conditions, whether you have signed up for the newsletter, whether you have accepted My Data's Information on the use of cookies.
At your request, My Data must inform you about the types of information My Data processes about you, the purpose of the processing, who can receive your information and where this information originates. In order to use the Webshop, the Facebook page and/or My Data's products, you must read and accept this Personal Data Policy.
PERSONAL DATA POLICY FOR MY DATA
1. PURPOSE OF THE PERSONAL DATA POLICY
1.1 The purpose of My Data's personal data policy is to explain how My Data collects, protects and uses information that can be attributed to a specific person.
1.2 This personal data policy covers My Data's processing of personal data that is collected about you as a customer of My Data when you register and use the Webshop on the website under the domain name www.mydata.dk, the Facebook page, as a My Data customer, or if you otherwise have agreed to receive material from My Data.
2. DEFINITION
2.1 "Personal data" here means information of any kind that can be used to identify you as a natural person or that relates to you.
3. WHICH AND WHY DOES MY DATA COLLECT PERSONAL DATA?
3.1 My Data processes information about you, including your first and last name, your address, e-mail address, telephone number, gender, age, information about your activities including inquiries, orders, searches, etc.
3.2 My Data needs to process personal data concerning you in order to run its business, e.g. to be able to enter into agreements with customers by processing customer contact data (name, address, e-mail address, telephone numbers) on the basis of customers' wishes and inquiries, to be able to develop and deliver concepts and products as well as related services within areas that relate to Backup solutions, antivirus protection, clarification of the distribution of My Data's products and services, whether My Data's Terms and Conditions have been accepted, whether it has been requested to receive electronic inquiries, whether registration has taken place for Viabill, to send offers, news, questionnaires and to technical purposes.
3.3 My Data undertakes to only process personal data to the extent necessary for the purposes stated above.
4. COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION
4.1 My Data collects personal data when you become a My Data customer, when you use the website and/or the Webshop at www.mydata.dk, and when you use the Facebook page.
4.2 My Data can also receive all kinds of personal data and other information about you from business partners.
4.3 My Data automatically receives and registers information in My Data's server log from your browser, including e.g. cookies. MyData has prepared "Information on the use of Cookies", which can be read on the website at www.mydata.dk.
4.4 When participating in the competition or filling in one of My Data's contact forms, My Data may contact you via email and telephone for the purpose of selling software.
The data collected during the competition registration is used for the implementation of the competition, the determination of the winner and the handling of the prize, in particular the notification to the winner and the transfer of the prize (Article 6(1)(b) DSGVO).
If, after the end of the competition, intentions to purchase, service or other contracts with third parties are accepted, the collected data and possibly other contract-specific data are passed on to third parties or companies, as these are not the basis for establishing and implementing the contract (Article 6, paragraph 1, letters b and f DSGVO).
In addition, we collect and process your personal data upon online participation in the competition based on the accepted participation contract. This obliges you to provide your personal information if and to the extent that you wish to participate in our competitive offer. The mentioned data processing takes place for the purpose of our own direct marketing (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO) via e-mail, post, telephone and SMS (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO).
Such processing of your personal data is in accordance with any separately approved consent for contact for advertising purposes via telephone, SMS, e-mail and postal advertisements, or by forwarding data for direct marketing for the relevant My Data of the lottery mentioned above, and is carried out also within the framework of our legitimate interests based on your consent (Section 6, paragraph 1, letter f, DSGVO).
Finally, we assume that by giving consent to telephone, SMS, e-mail and postal advertisements from My Data, consent is also given to data protection in the relevant processing of your personal data for the purpose of My Data's direct marketing and the associated data transfer, so that the corresponding data processing is also permitted in this respect (Article 6(1)(a) DSGVO).
It may be the case that before the data is used for marketing or passed on to My Data, an analysis of your affinities, interests and preferences takes place. For this purpose, the responses you have given after registering for the competition can be processed and a profile can be created so that we and any My Data can carry out direct marketing measures in a more targeted manner (Article 6(1)(f) DSGVO ).
Using the data obtained, especially those from our post-competition surveys, we create a so-called user profile for you in order to offer you a targeted service tailored to your individual needs. By creating this, we can classify personal aspects such as your interests and preferences as part of the automatic processing of your data to enable us to provide you with advertisements and offers that are of interest to you.
If your terminal supports this function, we often receive a confirmation of which e-mails from us you open and how you use these e-mails, in order to make them more useful and interesting for you in the future (Art. 6 para. 1 letter f DSGVO).
Collection and processing of your personal data will also result in assertion of your rights (art. 6 para. 1 lit. c and f DSGVO), which you can see in section 5 of this privacy policy.
Furthermore, your personal data may be disclosed in cases where we are legally obliged to do so (Article 6(1)(c) DSGVO) or to the extent necessary for the enforcement of other rights/claims or for legal defense , if and to the extent that these are based on the legitimate interests of the organizer or other third parties (Article 6(1)(f) DSGVO). The same applies in the event of (even partial) purchase or sale of businesses and/or assets in the event of another takeover of our business by a third party, in the event of initiation of insolvency proceedings, or if the opening is rejected due to lack of assets (Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f, DSGVO).
5. DISCLOSURE AND DISCLOSURE
5.1 My Data will not pass on or sell your personal data to third parties.
5.2 However, My Data will – if necessary – pass on your personal data to other companies, persons or authorities in the following cases:
5.2.1 If My Data has obtained your consent to this;

5.2.5 My Data is required to disclose information as required by law;
5.3 Notwithstanding the foregoing, by joining this Personal Data Policy, you expressly consent to My Data being able to pass on personal data relating to you to My Data's affiliated companies, including My Data ApS, provided that none of these uses your personal data to a greater extent than described here.
6. OPTIONS TO EDIT AND DELETE PERSONAL DATA
6.1 Your personal data will only be deleted or changed when you either request My Data to do this, when My Data itself assesses that My Data no longer needs your information, or if your personal data needs to be changed.
6.2 Regardless of clause 6.1. however, for reasons of accounting legislation, My Data is obliged to store some of your personal data for a minimum of 5 years from your last order placement.
6.3 If you yourself at an earlier time than described in section 6.2, wish to delete or change your personal data, you must contact My Data in writing about this (see contact details below).
7. INSIGHT
7.1 You can at any time request My Data to disclose what specific information My Data has registered about you and for what purpose the information has been used.

8. CHANGES IN MY DATA'S PERSONAL DATA POLICY
8.1 Storage of personal data is subject to the legislation in force at all times.
8.2 My Data can continuously and freely revise this Personal Data Policy.
8.3 The Personal Data Policy applicable at all times can be found on the website under the domain name www.mydata.dk. Any changes, adjustments, revisions, etc. will be valid from the time of publication on the website - also with regard to the previously registered personal data.
