When you register, we collect:

• Vocabulary and Lists: The words, definitions, and translations you save in your lists.
• Study Progress: Your results in grammar exercises, AI chats, and learning statistics.
• Reading Context: When you use the extension to translate or analyze a sentence, we send the selected text (and sometimes the nearby context on the webpage) to our servers to process it using Artificial Intelligence. This text is not used to track your browsing and is not associated with your browsing history.

If you purchase a Premium subscription, payments are securely processed by Stripe. MyLex does not store or have access to your full credit or debit card data.



We use the collected information exclusively for the following purposes:
* To provide, maintain, and improve the core features of MyLex (translations, grammar corrections, AI chats).
* To synchronize your data between the browser extension and the web application.
* To manage your account, subscription plan, and usage limits.
* To provide technical support and respond to your inquiries.
* To anonymously train internal vocabulary recommendation models (we never sell your data to third parties).



MyLex integrates with third-party services to provide advanced features:
* Artificial Intelligence (OpenAI / Gemini / Others): The text you select for grammar analysis, translation, or chatting is sent to AI providers to generate responses. We recommend not selecting or sending sensitive personal information (passwords, banking details) through these features.
* Stripe: For secure payment and subscription management.

These providers have their own privacy policies and adhere to strict security standards.

• Security: We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction (use of HTTPS/TLS, hashed passwords, secure tokens).
• Retention: We retain your personal information and vocabulary lists for as long as your account is active.

You have the right to:
* Access: View the personal information and vocabulary you have saved.
* Modify: Update your email, password, and profile data.
* Delete: You can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting technical support. Once deleted, the information cannot be recovered.



We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or services. We will notify you of any significant changes through the application or via email.
