The Narrative Influence Index browser extension ("the Extension") does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information about the user.
Information the Extension Processes

When the user clicks the extension, the Extension reads the visible text content of the active webpage for the sole purpose of providing an influence-analysis score. The analyzed text is temporarily sent to the Narrative Influence Index server (https://narrative-index.onrender.com) to generate the score.

No personal information, browsing history, identifiers, or user-specific data are collected or stored.
Information the Extension Does NOT Collect

The Extension does not collect or store:

Names, email addresses, or contact details
IP addresses or location data
Browsing history or activity logs
Authentication information
Financial information
Any other personally identifiable information


How Data is Used

The article text is used only for generating analysis results which are displayed immediately to the user. The text may be temporarily stored for authenticated users as part of their account history, but this is tied to their account directly and not used for analytics, profiling, advertising, or resale.
No Third-Party Sharing

The Extension does not sell or transfer any data—personal or non-personal—to third parties.
User Controls

The Extension only activates when the user interacts with it. It does not run in the background or monitor browsing behavior.
