I'm just wondering about security: where is the username and password? Is the password encrypted?Developer response
posted 4 years agoGood question! Synology Download Manager stores/transmits your credentials as securely as your settings and the browser allow it to. See https://github.com/seansfkelley/synology-download-manager/blob/master/FAQ.md for more detail. - Rated 5 out of 5by Shubham Chaudhary, 4 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15891867, 5 years agoHello
I have the same problem as jeanmicheldelacorse,
I have the 2-step connection activated on my synology.
When I connect your plugin, it asks me the verification in two stages and I cannot do it because no fields to fill.
Will this problem be corrected soon?
Thank you !Developer response
posted 4 years agoHi, unfortunately supporting 2-factor auth is quite a bit of work so I haven't been able to do it. You can see updates and a workaround on the tracking issue: https://github.com/seansfkelley/synology-download-manager/issues/7 - Rated 5 out of 5by jeanmicheldelacorse, 5 years agoHi,

posted 4 years agoThis has been on my radar for some time, but unfortunately I haven't had the time to sit down and do it. You can track progress at this issue: https://github.com/seansfkelley/synology-download-manager/issues/128 - Rated 5 out of 5by verm71, 5 years agoSuch a time saver! Offload the downloads from my browser to my Synology Download Station instead, with 2 each mouse clicks!

- Rated 5 out of 5by -, 5 years agothanks. options often display blank white page. cannot type any characters in there, have to copy paste. local hostnames are usually not recognized. otherwise getting:
- Connection failure (unknown reason) on HTTP
- Connection failure (likely wonrg hostname/port...) on HTTPS
- two-step verification needed in the best case
no luck, but i support development with good rating:)
update: connection made with standalone hostname for Download Station :) - Rated 4 out of 5by Sam G, 5 years agoUpdate Edit: Thanks for the clarification! This deserves 5* if we can have the feature to add several magnets at the same time (instead of 1).

posted 5 years agoYou're probably thinking of another extension, as there is no version of that feature in either the Chrome or Firefox versions of this addon. It's on my radar though, and there's a tracking issue for it at https://github.com/seansfkelley/synology-download-manager/issues/28.
Edit: this is now supported using the + button in the popup. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15367470, 5 years agoLove this extension but please give us the option to choose where to send a file when downloading a torrent when we right click on a torrent.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13027514, 5 years agoEverything is fine, but there are not enough buttons to "stop all" / "resume all" as it is implemented in the extension for chrome (www.download-station-extension.com)
PS Useful during online games for example - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15281884, 5 years ago
