NekoTab is built with a strict 100% privacy-first philosophy.

1. No Data Collection: This extension does NOT collect, track, transmit, or share any personal information, browsing history, keystrokes, IP addresses, or analytical data.
2. 100% Local Execution: All 63 wallpapers, thumbnails, scripts, and settings are stored locally on your device. No external tracking servers or third-party telemetry scripts are ever contacted.
3. Local Storage: User preferences (such as your active wallpaper, clock 12h/24h toggle, and dimmer brightness level) are stored strictly within your browser's local storage (localStorage) and
   never leave your machine.
4. Permissions: The extension requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function as a new tab replacement and facilitate search queries.
