Contrary to a reply you made to a previous review, you can redirect to the older "generation 2" reddit. You need to replace the
"www" in the URL with "new". - Rated 1 out of 5by Nayan, 8 months agoIt doesn't reditect me to the new.reddit but to the current reddit with has that awfull left bar designed for phoneposters.

posted 8 months agoHi,
There is no way to redirect to the previous design of the "new" Reddit as these do not offer separate distinguishing domains, the goal of the extension is to redirect any opinionated links (primarily old.) to www. - the newer design is introduced as mandated by Reddit and there is nothing I can do to help with this. - Rated 1 out of 5by J4ME5, a year agoUnfortunately, not very useful. Was looking for the UI before the beta. Reddit doesn't respect user settings so this extension does NOT redirect to my preferred design.

posted a year agoHi,
The goal of the extension as stated on its description is to redirect old.reddit.com to www.reddit.com, thus preventing the old "classic" Reddit design from ever showing.
Which UI are you trying to get to show?

- Rated 5 out of 5by Manuel Reimer, 4 years agoThank you for this. It really started to suck that so many people link directly to "old.reddit.com". This simple, lightweight Add-on fixes just that.

Thanks for the clarification! Works now in Private Browsing Mode.Developer response
posted 5 years agoHi!
You need to give extensions permission to work in Private Browsing sessions. You can see how to do this here: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/extensions-private-browsing
I have tested and it worked in Private Browsing when I gave it permission to.
