- Rated 5 out of 5by Brett Zamir, 5 years agoThis is very handy. It'd be great if this could also let you open a right-clicked link in a new tab beside (without needing to change browser defaults).

Toolbar button would be extremely helpful, because we would have to click(left) only once. Now we have to first click right and then click left. This(the way it is now) would not be such a big deal if you open under 10 new tabs/day, but when this number goes above 50 and multiplied with 2, that is at least 50 clicks plus, and having to switch between left and right click very often, our hand becomes very tired. The keyboard shortcut is not very helpful also, firstly because the current combination is quite hard to reach with one hand(maybe if we could choose our own combination...say the basic is Ctrl and then the second is left to our choice), and secondly because most of the browser users use the mouse most of the time, I mean except when we write something, but anyway when someone wants a new tab opened that means most certainly that the next move involves the mouse(so one hand will be on it) so that is why a toolbar button is extremely helpful.
For such great programmers like the ones that work or worked at mozilla, this functionality(to choose from options or about:config, the default where to open a new tab(left, righ to current, or on the very back(the most painful, and inefficient choice) of the tab bar, would have been a piece of cake to do it, but probably that this was another "great" decision of some boss(or bosser) that apparently was very occupied with "how to make browsing more painful for the more than 2 tabs a day user".
Cheers! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14561368, 6 years agoThis addon is retarded. Why can't I just Ctrl+T and have a tab open next to my current one?

- Rated 5 out of 5by Dream, 7 years agoThis addon is a life saver!! I recently switched from chrome which had this option in the right click menu but when I switched to firefox, I drove me crazy that this option wasnt available in the right click menu. Thank you for this!!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13572128, 7 years agoWith recent changes to make it one click, this is perfect - all I'm looking for in a simply right click.!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Alex, 7 years agoО, это реально толковый плагин.
Ради благодарности разработчикам я даже зарегистрировался в аккаунтах Firefox.
Все работает как надо.
Спасибо! ;) - Rated 5 out of 5by CheriePie, 7 years agoPerfect. Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a nice lightweight extension that would give me the option of opening a tab next to the current tab, while preferably still allowing the default behavior of tab at end in other circumstances. This extension does exactly that, and it does it perfectly.
I understand the new Mozilla restrictions in that the added context menu items can't be inserted within the current menu, only at the bottom, and I appreciate that the dev still put it on there. Thanks again for providing exactly what I was looking for. 8-)
