- Rated 5 out of 5by owl-syme, 7 years agoIt's nice to have something that works so well for the new Firefox! FYI if you need to select the search bar to do a search you can just hit Alt+D.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13454285, 7 years agoWorked instantly, hooray!! After messing around with advice from forums I discovered this add-on. It is well worth a donation. I recommend it. Thank you.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13453842, 7 years agoA very useful addon for anyone, if like me, you find having the default page on a new tab being dictated by the browser developers inconvenient and would rather choose your own.
Whether it be a favorite search engine (even region specific, e.g. https://www.google.co.uk) a file on your local computer or pretty much anything else, this addon makes it extremely easy and very fast to accomplish.
Highly recommended based on my experience and unhappiness with the basic browser functionality. - Rated 5 out of 5by Haldi, 7 years agoNice!
Now does anyone have a HTML5 Template or similar that looks and works as Superstart did so i can host it myself? - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13449143, 7 years agoSehr gute Funktion und das Add-On sollte eigentlich in Firefox, ab 57?, implementiert sein.
Es bringt mir die alte funktionalität zurück.
Danke an den Entwickler - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13447920, 7 years agoI have downloaded this and can't get it to work. I can saved it but it will not run. Please advise. Thank you
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13447104, 7 years agoWhen using any option that places a URL in the address bar of a new tab the address bar gets focused but the text is not selected for writing over. Have to Ctrl-A and type over the URL set for the new tab. Started occurring with the switch to WebExtensions. Pain in the ass.
- Rated 5 out of 5by John Page, 7 years agoWORKS! Another addon necessary only because of stupid Mozilla designers taking options away from the user. Thank you for fixing mozilla's moronic decisions.
TO DEVELOPER:
I don't know your reasons for not agreeing, frankly I don't care, but mozilla keeps breaking things that work. I say this as a user and I experience it with nearly every update.Developer response
posted 7 years agoThank you for your feedback. But I couldn't disagree more with your part about Mozilla and I say that as the developer of this add-on. It was the right decision by Mozilla, without doubt. - Rated 5 out of 5by rococo, 7 years agoIt just works. <15 seconds to install and set up. Great job :)

posted 7 years agoThank you for the five stars.
If your Firefox is crappy there is something broken on your system. It's not crappy for most of the users. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12121033, 7 years agoc'était super
POURQUOI ces abrutis de MOZILLA l'ont ils bloqué !!!Developer response
posted 7 years agoThank you for the five stars, but the comment about Mozilla is not okay. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13431583, 7 years ago

posted 7 years agoPlease don't give bad reviews (and only 3 stars are bad!) without saying what's wrong. New Tab Override has a lot of features and all features works without problems. If you need some different option please tell what you're missing. But such a review is useless…
Thank you… - Rated 5 out of 5by Dani, 7 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13420543, 7 years agoThanks I am now able to show my bookmarks file when a new tab opens. Only problem is that the field is filled with "moz-extension....." Any way to clear this field after a new tab is created?
Developer response
posted 7 years agoNo. As you can read in the add-on's settings page it's not possible for WebExtensions. - Rated 5 out of 5by s25g5d4, 7 years ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13419639, 7 years agoIs there a possibility to add a new tab as a duplicate (including current page and history) of the current tab? This would be a natural extension of the existing options. I'm kind of missing Tab Mix Plus in this new Firefox...
Developer response
posted 7 years agoThank you for your suggestion. It's not possible at the moment, but I can implement this in a future update.
But why only three stars? All features are listed in the description so there is no surprise, the add-on does excatly what it says.
