In general is OK but things could be improved as for example; why the hell if I stop visiting a web—or I just do it sometimes—it does appear before others that I do visit a lot as in "daily basis". That is why I do not give the five but the rest is pretty awesome. A simple ad-don for a simple thing. You can customize everything and from a couple of month you can even make a backup copy of your settings. I will be using this forever.

Found this after FF 60 broke the about:config trick to restore the old new tab page. Thanks! All my tiles show up as blank white placeholders. How can I get this extension to automatically put thumbnails there? Creating them manually is possible but not ideal.

This extension enabled me to get my big tiles back after the update to Firefox 60 botched them.
I like that I can just select to view 3 rows @ 4 columns.

After I replaced the tile previews with small jpg's I created from a screenshot the new tab page loads A LOT faster - it should not be necessary to do this yourself.

But after all that effort I wanted to backup my "new tab" configuration: unfortunately Firefox ALWAYS hangs.

Love this extension. Only gave it four stars because, of about half the tabs it only shows a blank image, even after I use it several times.

Just a little issue... When you click on new tab, this add-on does not focus on the address bar like firefox behavior.
It's little annoying. It still a great add-on that does the job.

It's really nice but there are some problems: it's sad that the extension doesn't load at Firefox startup (the built-in New Tab loads as if there is no extension to replace it). The settings window is a mess, it's really hard to add or modify tiles, it would be better if the user can add and modify them directly in the New Tab page. Also, local files don't load (maybe it's a Quantum limitation?)

It seems great. Only one future missing. It will be nice to add photos directly from webpage

I am very happy this works on FF57, thank you!
However, I am facing a small issue. When I create a new tab then the desired page, as modified with this addon, appears. On the other hand, when I open the page about:newtab then the default firefox newtab page opens like if I did not have this addon installed. What is the page I should set to the browser.startup.homepage in about:config in order to open the modified newtab page as per this addon when I press the home button?

Great, wish I could add a search field to new tab page again though.

Elle remplace très bien mon ancienne application qui ne fonctionne plus avec FF57 malheureusement.

Y est il prévu une option afin de pouvoir ouvrir les favoris ainsi créé dans un autre onglet au lieu de remplacer la page des favoris.

La seule solution que j'ai trouvé et de faire un clic droit et de choisir dans le menu contextuel ce qui n'est pas très pratique en tout cas pour l'utilisation que j'en ai.
