Nooka is built with privacy as a foundational principle:

1. Zero Data Collection: Nooka does not collect, log, track, or share any personal information, browsing history, analytics, or telemetry.
2. Direct-to-GitHub Communication: All synchronization occurs directly between your browser and the official GitHub API (api.github.com) over encrypted HTTPS using your own GitHub Personal Access Token.
3. Local Storage: Your bookmarks, collections, and settings are stored locally on your device via standard browser storage APIs.
4. No Third-Party Servers: There are no intermediate proprietary servers, trackers, or third-party analytics services embedded in this add-on.
