- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16933873, 4 years agoIt's stuck in a login loop since weeks. Can't log in, says it does but it doesn't, so can't use it. Go away. Broken. Period.
Problem appeared for me with recent update that use a popup that get you to login.
Bro, it's not even practical. Anyway.
Did all the basic stuff, meaning, uninstalling/installing, clearing cache ect. You know the drill. No fix, and if such operations do not work, the fault's not on my end, as a basic user i should not have to mutate into a nerd goblin and do a rain dance around the system files of my computer in order to find a fix.
People are paid for this.
I mean (I hope...).
Paid to do the job.
Not the goblin one, dammit.
Go see the other reviews, most recent users talk about similar issues.
Also no solutions given openly, unless by adressing a ticket to support team, which i have nor the time nor the will to do.
When most reviews talk about a said problem it's not about specific cases anymore.
So, dear sweetie Nordie, i don't need a ticket or a kiss on my forehead, i need an update, or the choice to go back to an older version, when it worked smoothly.
Those were good times.
Bring'em back.

- Rated 1 out of 5by zhaarteth, 4 years agoYou do two logins in the morning, you do two logins at night. You do two logins in the afternoon, it makes you feel uptight. You login twice in times of peace, and two in time of war. You login two times before you login two times, and then login two more.
Don't waste time replying to this, devs. Just fix the login loop already! This is just silly now.Developer response

La "simplicité" dont se vante cette entreprise se résume a devoir batailler avec un service d'aide injoignable et qu'on a pas forcement envie de joindre. Désinstallé direct. A fuir donc!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14997599, 4 years agoFor the past few days/weeks this addon has made browsing a painful experience.
Everything slows down to a crawl in random intervals. The addon says that I am not logged in but even after I log in (and I get a message that I have successfully logged in), it keeps saying that I am not logged in. Changing servers also does not work because the addon is unable to retrieve server list.
I have been reinstalling the addon several times every day, which helps for a while but sooner or later it breaks again. I have also cleared cookies between reinstalls, as suggested by the "developer" but, unsurprisingly, this did not help either. Firefox is always up-to-date and I am not using any addons that might interfere with a VPN addon.
Similar behavior has been reported by other users and the only "solutions" provided by the "developer" are to reinstall addon, clear cookies or reinstall Firefox. They are either incapable or unwilling to fix the actual underlying problem with the addon. Instead, they try to shift the responsibility to the user. The amount of users reporting these issues is indicative that this is not an isolated user issue but rather a programming issue.
To other users: If you value your time and mental health then steer away from NordVPN firefox addon.
To the "developer": If your addon requires daily reinstall while multitudes of users are experiencing the same problems, then there is clearly something wrong with your addon. Don't bother responding that I should try this or that, I have already tried it all many times. Instead, do your job and fix the addon!
PS: I am also using the Chrome extension and it has been working well so far. Quite a stark contrast to the Firefox addon. - Rated 1 out of 5by CheezyBurrito, 4 years agoCompletely useless with the issues around the login loop. Yes I've disabled all other extensions and plugins, yes I've cleared the cache, yes I've been to see the holy monk in the temple at the top of mount Wasteyourtime. The extension simply doesn't work and until it does, it deserves 1 star.

No I don't want to contact customer support, just fix the add-on, there's obviously some major issues with it. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15563600, 4 years agoCleared cache and cookies. reinstalled plugin, but still gets stuck in a login loop. Thanks for nothing NordVPN. This should have definitely been found by tests, before making a release... Not happy.

Please contact us at support.nordvpn.com for further assistance. -Drea - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16923516, 4 years agoSame issue that has been reported repeatedly here. It logs me out and now it won't even log me back in, despite the fact that I do the process and it takes my credentials but after saying I'm logged in I'm still not connected and when I open the extension it asks me to log in again. Really annoying.

posted 4 years agoHello! Please try clearing the cache and cookies of your browser fully and only then reinstalling the extension. If the issue persists, please contact our support team at support.nordvpn.com and we'll assist right away! -Neo - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16892653, 4 years agoDear Nord,
Still having issues with your latest version. With a fresh install, it will work exactly once before returning to the good old login loop.
Will you ever update with a fixed version?
PS: Pls do not ask me to contact your support if you don't actually have anything to fix the problem. I've already checked with your support multiple times and nothing has worked so far. The best advice was from an another review, which was to rollback to an earlier version.Developer response

Logged into my account but when I click on the icon it still says "Log into your account". Tried again once, twice, but same story. The extension won't log me in.

- Rated 1 out of 5by PhunkyBob, 4 years agoEvery few days, the plugin display the icon that I'm logged in and connected, but when I check my IP, I'm not. Neat, I'm naked witout knowing it!
If I try to log in, it pops up "You are logged in" but when I want to connect to a server it says "please log in". The only ways to exit from this infinite loop is to uninstall the plugin, clear cache and re-install the plugin. What a waste of time....
Support says to contact the chat. Chat is a bot and says to contact support. Infinite loop, again.
The server accuracy is really poor.
When I connect to the "France" server, websites think I'm somewhere else.
Since there is very few IP adress with this plugin, I have captcha on almost every secured websites.Developer response

It asks me to log in. I click on "Log In with Nord Account", a popup window opens, I log in successfully, and the window closes itself. But then the extension still acts as if I hadn't logged in. So it's completely unusable.

Not for the first time, I uninstalled the extension and re-installed it again to make it work again. That DOES NOT WORK this time. Well... it works for ONE session. If I close the browser, I have to reinstall it again. Otherwise, I get the same infinite loop requesting that I login again that other users are reporting. Yes I've deleted my cookies. Yes I know Nord makes a separate VPN program and no, I don't want to use it. I want *this plugin* to work. Please fix it. Please keep it working. My NORD subscription expires in October and I'm now considering other providers. Update: Lowering score from 2 to 1 star for the boilerplate response. Stop breaking the add-on and test it better before pushing new releases.

Было бы здорово, если бы вы связались с нашей службой поддержки, чтобы они могли проверить проблему и помочь вам решить ее быстрее. Наша команда доступна 24 часа в сутки 7 дней в неделю по адресу support.nordvpn.com. -A.S. - Rated 1 out of 5by Snake_Wildlife, 4 years agoAfter the update, you can login as many times as you want, you get stuck in a loop, cant select a server, we cannot use this. To Developer responder, please stop telling people to reinstall and delete cookies/cache and go on a 'try to fix it' crusade across their perfectly working computers, you need to work this code related bug out and stop sending people on wild goose-chases. This is a broken add-on and after we have all tried everything we can on our end, YOU need to step up after taking our money and take responsibility with at minimum an apology that thousands of users right now are unable to use your service after paying for it.
The finger is being pointed at YOU now, stop deflecting people with text-book excuses, and fix it. This fault is on YOUR end. YOU need to contact whoever has developed this addon and get them to work out the flaw.
You want to keep earning our money? GET TO WORK. The one star ratings are pouring in as you continue to avoid this issue, and you will no doubt start hemorrhaging customers.
If you want to earn our trust back before it's too late, now is the time for you to wake up!
Contacting support teams, re-installing Windows, clearing cache, fresh reinstalls etc etc, you are wasting our time, our systems are flawless, your Addon broke two weeks ago and the reports are piling in on your desk, do not ignore them.
Start taking these reviews seriously and knock off the "Its your fault, now jump through some hoops" responses. Taking on the noble quest of getting in touch with the lead coder to go on a fixing journey is not our job or responsibility, we have busy lives to run and bills to pay, YOU need to inform your superiors, YOU need to take responsibility, YOU need to fix this. Have i used enough 'You' 's ?
INFORM YOUR SUPERIOR. 2 weeks of total breakdown is not acceptable for a service that claims:
Uptime: NordVPN offers a 99.9 % uptime guarantee.
You have broken your garauntee. Yes your servers are probably "up", but anybody using this add-on has not been able to connect to them for 2 weeks.
Edit: The response below seems to imply you didnt bother to read this complaint. Well i cant be bothered to use your service any further, you have lost this customer. Fix your addon, and stop wasting our time blaming the customer.Developer response
