What the add-on reads: only the email, web page or selected text you choose to save — when you click "Save to Northstar", use the right-click menu or the keyboard shortcut. To offer saving on booking confirmation pages, the add-on checks a page's text for confirmation wording; this check runs entirely in your browser and nothing is sent.

What is sent, and where: when you click Save, the text of that email/page/selection is sent to Northstar's backend (Supabase) and processed by Anthropic's AI to extract the bookings. The text itself is not stored. The bookings you choose to save are stored in your Northstar account.

Sign-in: your email and password are sent only to Northstar's sign-in provider (Supabase). The add-on stores a login token in the browser's extension storage so you stay signed in. Signing out deletes it.

What it does not do: no tracking, no browsing history, no analytics, no ads. It never reads other emails or pages. Data is never sold or shared for advertising.

Your rights: you can delete your account and all data in the Northstar app (Profile → Delete my account). Contact: northstar.app.help@gmail.com
