- Rated 1 out of 5by Haytham, 8 years agoI don't know really why Norton don't care to our needs and finish working on Identity Safe fast ??!!!
Why all this time and why wasting our
time ??
You need to make Identity safe not free then let us know and anyone need to pay will pay but respect us. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12846282, 8 years agodoesn't keep up with Firefox updates - works fine & then next update it's useless. very poor option for passwords as you can't assume it'll always work. Latest Firefox update rendered it useless once again. Frustrating.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12746730, 8 years agoWe've all been waiting on Norton to fix Identity Safe on Firefox, and I was excited to see that it was working right after the last update. BUT it only worked for about 10 minutes. Now it's back to not letting me log in for autofilling passwords in this browser. It still works on Internet Explorer and on my iPhone. Norton is more frustrating than it's worth lately.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12175786, 8 years agoIch bin mit Norton nicht mehr zufrieden.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Randy_Blanchard, 8 years agoAfter decades of using Norton products, I am now ready to look elsewhere. The problem isn't your browser, it's Norton! They are just not interested in producing quality software for individual users. Blaming Firefox or Chrome is just smoke and mirrors on the part of an unqualified Customer Service. Identity Safe is lousy shoddy software that fails under the least bit of internet stress. Just say good-bye and bite the bullet - don't give them your money any more.
- Rated 1 out of 5by kenteicher, 8 years agoThe add on for Mozilla was working - now it isn't. I have removed the add on, closed and reopened Mozilla, uploaded again and it still does not work.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12834694, 8 years agoI agree, every time Firefox updates, NIS does not work. I have to go in and add it to the add ons.
This time it still doesn't work.
Can't you and Norton get together before releasing a new update and get it right with Norton?
Rating is for Firefox - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12832900, 8 years agoFirefox releases updates that are not compatible with Identity Safe on a frequent basis. I depend on Identity Safe to manage my logins, and it has proven to be reliable for many years. Firefox, on the other hand isn't, so now I use Chrome. The rating is for Firefox, not Identity Safe.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Petert44, 8 years agoI just installed Firefox on my ThinkPad running Windows 10 and up until the time I tried to get Norton's tool bars installed I was very pleased with FF and considered uninstalling IE 11. Unfortunately, the add-on for ID safe appears not to be able to support a local vault for the passwords. I don't know if this is a Norton problem or FF. There is no way I going to place my passwords online. Does anyone know of a workaround?
- Rated 1 out of 5by Al, 8 years agoIt seemed like I waited a year for Norton Identity Vault to work with Firefox again. When it was added about a month ago it had limited functionality but it worked. Starting November 27, 2016, it now crashes when I try to enter my vault pin! The Error Message: "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again."

posted 8 years agoWe are sorry you are experiencing this error. We have identified a top source of this type of error and intend to release it in a future update. Please try signing fully out of your Norton Account and signing back in when this error occurs. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12568550, 8 years agoNorton bekommt es einfach nicht hin Identity Safe funktionierend in Firefox einzubinden.
Diese Add on will sich einloggen obwohl ich bei Identity Safe schon eingeloggt bin. Es lädt und lädt und lädt ........
Absolut unbrauchbarer Schrott.
Ein Armutszeugnis für Norton. - Rated 1 out of 5by Alex_S, 8 years agoLike all programs from Norton it works badly. There are other cloud services better.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12594951, 8 years agoEinloggen läuft. Bitte warten... und warten, und warten, und warten......
Mehr passiert nicht!
Add-on Version: 1.1.54
Weniger als 1 Stern geht leider nicht! - Rated 1 out of 5by Maige, 8 years agoI have the same issue as tricel (Sept. 4 review) This has never worked. I've uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and I'm sure I have the latest updates. When I click "Open Vault" I get the "Sorry, something went wrong..." notification. So far, this has been useless for me.
I also agree that a local option should always be available. I hate using the cloud. - Rated 1 out of 5by 123456789-a, 8 years agoWhen logging in all I get is spinning dots. Oh and I am not a retard, my machine is plugged in, turned on and I was using your latest crap version 1.1.54
- Rated 1 out of 5by styleajet3, 8 years agoIt used to work great! then it stopped working and now the process to log in is ridiculous!!! I f you log in from the menu bar (that is if it lets you this day) you have to log in again to log into a page?? If you surf to another page, you have to log in again?? What happened to the stay logged in option?? And the log out option?? You guys need to fix it!! I love firefox but I need my ID safe to work. If it doesn't soon I'll have to quit Firefox ;-( If there was a minus on the star rating I'd have put Minus 5 stars at least. Please fix it, its frustrating as hell.

posted 8 years agoPlease confirm you are running with the latest of our add-on version - we made improvements in the login reliability with version 1.1.54. - Rated 1 out of 5by rjatcu, 9 years agoThis plugin slows down your browsing experience significantly. When visiting pages with many form fields (e.g. while working on my shop backend) the system almost freezes. I think it's because the plugins tries to establish a connection to the Norton server, which is incredibly slow.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12569348, 9 years agoWhatever you say in Symantec, this add on isn't functional...you should consider giving our money back because this problem exists 6 months already!!!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12563800, 9 years agoI prefer to use the local password vault option for NIS, yes you can still use the local option if you never set up a cloud vault. This addon does not see my NIS local vault and I refuse to use a cloud option. Are you freaking serious? The cloud is not safe and NOT PRIVATE!!!!!
FYI- Chrome and IE still work with the NIS password manager with a local vault. So you may be making a decision for me, unfortunately. - Rated 1 out of 5by Krystalle, 9 years agoI loved using this add-on. It made life easier. What I despise about it is that every time Firefox updated, Norton's Identity Safe would no longer work for months...and months...and months. I had to use FireFox for school. I had tons of passwords I had to look up on the Norton Identity Safe website and write down individually. It sucked. I paid for all of the perks of Norton 365, not just the internet protection. It should work all the time or have a week of inconvenience at most. Norton has lost me as a customer.

posted 9 years agoHello - thank you for writing your review. The versions of Identity Safe addons for Firefox since late 2015 have been written using forward-compatible API's. Since then, we no longer need to rebuild for each Firefox release. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12526338, 9 years agoAdd-On told me to login. I logged in. Now it says 'Login in progress'. Tried it a couple of times, let it open for ~20 minutes, login still in progress.
Worth the wait of over a year. - Rated 1 out of 5by tricel, 9 years agoI says my vault is locked. When I press the OPEN VAULT tab, nothing happens. No pop-up or window change. Nothing to sign into.
I just tried again after the reply below. Still not working. I can't sign out of my account and I can't log into my vault.Developer response
posted 9 years agoWe regrettably had service issues last week (29-Aug-2016 to 2-Sep-2016 timeframe) that impacted ability to access Identity Safe Vaults.
Those services are now available and you should be able to access your Vault now. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12512457, 9 years agoTotally fails to function on my pc-latest up to date Win 10 Anniversary and FF48.0.2
