Old Google Icons: Customize Workspace Icons by Sr programador

Restore classic Google Workspace icons and favicons.

About this extension

Old Google Icons: Customize Workspace Icons brings back the familiar classic look of Google Workspace. Choose designs from 2020, 2014 and even 2011, depending on the app, including all 31 of Calendar’s day-specific icons.

Make the experience yours: pick a classic design or upload a custom icon for each app, then choose where it appears—browser tabs and bookmarks, app headers, the Google apps menu, and supported Workspace side panels.

Features:
• Classic designs from multiple eras, with the 2020 look selected by default
• Individual controls for each app and icon location
• Custom square PNG, JPG or WebP icons (32–2048 px, up to 5 MB), optimized to 128 × 128 px and stored on your device
• Restore the classic multicolour Google account ring, with its own switch, wherever Google displays it
• Support for light and dark themes
• Changes appear on open pages without a manual refresh

The extension does not collect or transmit personal data. Custom icons stay on your device.
