Omniscan is a simple utility designed for your convenience. We do not collect, store, log, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) or any other personal data from our users. The extension does not require you to create an account or provide any personal details.

2. Search Queries: The extension processes only the information you type into the address bar after the 'scan' keyword (e.g., a blockchain ticker like "eth" and a public address or transaction hash). This information is considered public, non-personal data. This data is used solely to construct a URL to the corresponding public blockchain explorer, a process that happens entirely within your browser. We, the developers of Omniscan, do not have access to your search queries.
3. Favorites Data (User Preferences): To enhance your experience, Omniscan uses the chrome.storage API to locally save a list of your "favorite" blockchain explorers. This data is stored only on your personal device and is never transmitted to us or any third party. This feature allows the extension to remember your preferences and display your favorite explorers for quicker access.
4. No Third-Party Servers

Omniscan does not communicate with any third-party servers, except for the public blockchain explorer websites you are directed to. No user data, including your favorites list or search queries, is ever sent to us.
