Extension Metadata

About this extension
Turn the page you’re on into a one-time, self-destructing link you can share with confidence. Add an optional short note (e.g., context or instructions), click Generate Secure Message, and copy the single-use URL to send anywhere.

How can it help you

1: Captures the current page URL and lets you add a short message.
2: Generates a one-time link that auto-expires after first open.
3 :Optional password: add a passphrase for an extra layer of protection.
4: One-click Copy to share your secure link instantly.

How your data is protected

1: All messages are protected using AES-256-GCM, an authenticated encryption scheme (AEAD). That means:
2: Confidentiality + Integrity: the content is encrypted and includes a built-in authentication tag to detect tampering.
3: Zero-knowledge design: we don’t need to know your password to create or deliver the one-time link.

Why use it

1: Share sensitive pages or notes once—no lingering links.
2: Add context with a quick message so recipients know exactly what they’re opening.
3: Strengthen privacy with a password-protected one-time link when needed.
activeTab Justification

Why we request activeTab

We use activeTab only when user click the extension button to read the URL (and optionally the title) of the currently active tab. This lets us prefill your message with the page link you’re sharing—without asking for broad site access or reading page content.

Access is temporary and limited to the tab you interacted with; we don’t:
1: Run scripts on pages
2: We don’t collect browsing history
3: And we never store the URL unless "The User" choose to include it (optional) in their message payload - even when stored in the message, it is an encrypted message using AES-256-GCM (AEAD) which we are unable to decrypt. activeTab is the least-privilege way to support “share current page” functionality.
