Security of Collected Information

The OpenLink Data Explorer uses remote sponger cartridges written by OpenLink Software to gather addtional information available from Web pages and stores/caches these on the designated server hosting the sponger cartridges. By default this is an OpenLink hosted server (demo.openlinksw.com) where ever effort is made to ensure we protect any data collated from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. The OpenLink Data Explorer can be configured to use other third party or local servers for storing/caching Web data in which case the responsibility for the security of the collated data fails on the owner of the hosting server.

Changes to this Statement

OpenLink Software is sensitive to user's privacy issues and recognizes the need to update this policy as new features and enhancements are made to the product. OpenLink Software reserves the right to amend the privacy policy at any time with or without notice. Please check back frequently in the event of changes to our Privacy Policy. When we do update the policy, we will also revise the "last updated" date at the top of the privacy statement.
