Orbit puts everything you manage in Firefox into one elegant sidebar, with a design inspired by Apple's system look.

Tabs

See all open tabs and tab groups in one place, with instant search.
Group tabs by website in one click, and rename or recolor groups.
Pin, mute, duplicate, sort, or move tabs to a new window.
Put tabs to sleep to save memory, and close duplicate tabs instantly.

History

Search your history and filter by Today, Yesterday, 7 days, 30 days, or All time.
Sort by most recent or most visited, grouped by day.
Remove a single page, a whole website, or an entire time range.

Bookmarks

Browse your bookmark folders as a tree, and drag and drop to reorganize.
Create, edit, move, and sort bookmarks and folders A to Z.
Give any folder its own icon and color.
Find and remove duplicate bookmarks.
Open a whole folder as a tab group.

Sessions

Save your current window, a single tab group, or all windows.
Restore a session any time, either in a new window or added to the current one. Tabs can be restored asleep to save memory.
Automatic snapshots run in the background (private windows are never saved).
Export and import sessions as files.

Privacy
Orbit collects no data. Everything is stored locally in your browser, nothing is sent anywhere, and it contains no remote code or trackers.

Permissions explained

tabs, tabGroups: show and manage your tabs and groups.
history, bookmarks: show, search, and organize them.
storage: save your settings, sessions, notes, and links locally.
alarms: run automatic session snapshots and tab sleep.
theme: apply browser themes.
