About this extension
We've brought back the legacy Twitter verified checkmarks!
Tired of not knowing who was an Original Bird (OB)? Then this extension is for you! A green checkmark is displayed on Twitter next to OBs from before the great purge of 2023.
**Features**
- Customize checkmark color, or replace with your OWN text/image!
- Shows checkmarks on embedded Tweets (e.g. news websites).
- Displays green checkmarks next to legacy verified users.
- Toggle Twitter Blue checkmarks on/off.
This extension is also available for Google Chrome.
Please consider donating if you enjoy using our extension! Users of this extension will see all donor names in a light orange color on Twitter.
Visit our website for more information.
Note: You will need to grant permission to access Twitter by clicking this extension under the jigsaw puzzle icon. It will briefly visit Elon Musk's Twitter page. Since he is always verified, we retrieve the checkmark after installation to avoid distributing copyrighted material.
Disclaimer: Legacy verified status is determined using Twitter handles. This is not 100% reliable since handles can change. We are working on this. Remember to always use common sense and aggregate multiple resources to validate someone's identity on Twitter.
