by Firefox user 15087740, 6 years agoSo happy I found this add-on, works well.
Is it not possible for the new email to open in a new tab though? I'm using it from a link in Google Sheets, and it keeps closing the Sheets-document.. Can't seem to find the option for new tab anywhere..
EDIT: The creator just made it happen, changed my review to 5 stars! Great!

posted 6 years agoThanks for the feedback! I've released a new version of the extension (version 2.1) that will now open the links in a new tab. It should be available on the Mozilla Addons Website version soon. Enjoy!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Timat, a year agoGreat idea but has only worked once so far so maybe Microsoft is blocking it? Nice when it worked!

- Rated 5 out of 5by BeLuna, 4 years agoWell it uses my emailprogramm, but in a new tab, it does not jump to my already open (and pinned) mailbox, it makes a new "mail only" tab. would be nice when I could jump into my already open mailbox. But well, maybe for just writing a mail is it okay. But would be nice when it use my "main Mailbox" tab.
Thanks to the dev for your answer, sad, that it didnt works :(
Update: I am happy that it work like this way^^.... its much better this way :DDeveloper response
posted 4 years agoThat was originally the way that I wanted the add-on to work, but there's no way to allow the add-on to make a new email within the regular Outlook inbox. Instead, I had to use Outlook's special page to send emails. If something changes to the way the Outlook website works, I'd love to change the way the add-on works in the future. - Rated 4 out of 5by Lisseth C Chaparro Q, 4 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Alok Sharma, 5 years agoLoved this add-on. It has made it easy to set Outlook Web as default mailto handler in Firefox.
P.S. Don't know why Firefox is showing this warning "This is not a Recommended Extension. Make sure you trust it before installing." even though the add-on doesn't seems to be harmful in nature.Developer response
posted 5 years agoGlad to hear that you like the add-on!
To clarify about the warning that you see, the majority of the add-ons on this platform have that warning. That's because Mozilla only monitors a select number of add-ons on their platform. These are what they label "recommended extensions". Because this add-on is not part of Recommended Extension Program, it's not monitored by Mozilla, so this "use at your own risk" style message is displayed. Add-ons with this warning are not necessarily harmful. In fact, the majority (like mine) are not. - Rated 5 out of 5by onedude, 5 years agoThanks for the extension. This is something I've been looking for for a long time. Unfortunately, the extension doesn't seem to work properly for me. It brings up my Outlook.com home page, but not the composer window. Wonder what's causing this? Windows 7 64bit, Firefox 70.0.1.
Edit: Never mind. Tried again after a restart of the browser. Now everything seems working as intended. Have changed my rating to five star - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15269288, 5 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15014906, 6 years agoWorks well but keeps requesting that I sign back in each time I click on a mailto link. Not too sure if its because I use outlook.office.com rather then outlook.live.com.
