About this extension

Page AI Translator is a Firefox extension that translates the web page you are currently viewing directly from the sidebar.
It supports both the OpenAI API and a locally running Ollama instance.

- Translate entire web pages

- Support for Japanese, English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, and Spanish
- Translation styles: natural, faithful, and concise

OpenAI mode uses your own OpenAI API key. The API key is not stored. Text selected for translation and translation instructions are sent to the OpenAI API.
Ollama mode sends translation requests to your locally running Ollama instance.
The extension contains no advertising, analytics, or developer-operated telemetry.
