About this extension
Page Info Helper helps you quickly understand a page at a glance. Open the popup to scan the current tab and see total words and links. If you need to visually inspect navigation, toggle link highlighting with one click. The extension does not collect or transmit any data and uses the minimal permissions required to operate.
When you click the toolbar button, the extension injects a small content script into the active tab using the activeTab permission. That script calculates basic, local-only page statistics and can add a temporary dotted outline to links. You can enable an option to auto-highlight links whenever you open the popup. All DOM updates are performed safely with textContent and a style element; there is no inline scripting, no eval, and no remote code.
The design is focused on clarity and speed. No trackers, no analytics, no ads. Just a simple helper for quick page insights that respects your privacy and your workflow.
